Eu tenho desconexões a cada 5/10/20 min aleatórios do WiFi somente quando estou em um espaço onde há vários AP (Ruckus + Zonedirector) com o mesmo SSID.
Quando há apenas um AP (Ruckus) é estável.
parece que o roaming não está funcionando corretamente.
experimentou diferentes versões do Ubuntu 12.04 e agora 14.10 atuais
com controlador de rede: Intel Corporation Wireless 7260 (rev 83)

A única solução que encontrei é ir para o Network Connection e configurar o BSSID estático como aqui link
