Referência de ordem PCI física à CPU

Existe alguma maneira de saber a ordem do PCI em referência à CPU (ou em referência a algo?)?

por exemplo, eu tenho 5 cartões AMD, gostaria de saber qual é qual em relação a algo (fisicamente). Eu posso usar lshw para descobrir a ordem (através de PCI-X, onde X é o inteiro), como a terceira placa não está funcionando, mas eu preciso de uma referência para que eu possa identificar rapidamente a placa fisicamente na placa. Eu suponho que cada fabricação de placa-mãe é diferente, até mesmo o pedido não mudará (o PCI não estará pulando como 1,3,2,5,4), então é no sentido horário ou no sentido horário?

Fabricantes de placas-mãe geralmente (*) fazem o layout físico dos slots PCI-e para que eles fiquem na ordem lógica consecutiva dos dispositivos. E a ordem é geralmente da mais próxima da CPU até a mais distante da CPU.

Suas GPUs estão em:

00:00:01.0
00:05:00.0
00:06:00.0
00:07:00.0
00:08:00.0
00:09:00.0

Podemos ignorar o primeiro, porque provavelmente é um GPU embutido na CPU. Os demais estão listados na ordem em que são fisicamente instalados em slots - por exemplo, 00: 05: 00.0 será a GPU no primeiro slot, 00: 06: 00.0 será a CPU no segundo slot.

(*) Hesito em dizer "sempre", mas nunca vi uma placa-mãe com um layout diferente. Quase certamente porque seria mais trabalho (e portanto mais caro) fazer isso. Observe que, se um fabricante descobrir uma maneira de economizar alguns nano-centavos por placa-mãe, fazendo isso de maneira diferente, é exatamente o que eles farão.

Placas-mãe com risers PCI e pontes PCI adicionais etc vão mudar isso, mas você não tende a vê-las fora de placas de servidor para 1 ou 2RU rackmount chassis ... e mesmo assim, a ordem ainda é (geralmente) de mais próximo de mais longe.
