Estou executando o Red Hat Enterprise Linux Desktop 6.9 em uma máquina virtual. Eu estou usando uma versão mais antiga, porque estou experimentando com o legado grub 1. Estou prestes a compilar um kernel Linux também. Mas, eu preciso instalar o pacote do grupo yum chamado 'Developer Tools' primeiro.
Quando eu corro:
# yum groupinstall 'Developer Tools'
Recebo uma mensagem de erro informando que o grupo não existe:

Eu tentei ativar alguns repos, como rhel-client-dts-6-rhb-rpms, sem sucesso.

Acabei resolvendo essa questão ...
O problema é que eu estava usando a assinatura básica de US $ 49 do RHEL Desktop, mas precisava da assinatura de US $ 179 do RHEL Workstation. A Red Hat só queria mais dinheiro:)
