Estou ficando muito frustrado com o Ubuntu 14.04, depois de ter resolvido muitos problemas com ele.
Eu uso meu laptop atual no trabalho e parece que ele realmente pode se conectar corretamente à rede com fio. Mas assim que eu tento o mesmo em casa, ele falha - não parece encontrar nenhuma conexão com a eth0, meu laptop mais antigo (com o Ubuntu 12) funciona muito bem com o mesmo cabo.
Eu percebi que já existem muitas perguntas sobre esse assunto, com muitas soluções semelhantes / diferentes e, antes de escrever esta pergunta, eu já testei muitas delas sem sucesso:
Coisas que tentei, em qualquer combinação / sugeridas em outras perguntas como soluções:
Eu tentei sudo service network-manager restart
, sudo service network-interface restart INTERFACE=eth0
e comandos semelhantes antes e depois das edições - também reinicializei o computador várias vezes.
Eu editei /etc/network/interfaces
, atualmente é assim:
auto eth0
iface eth0 inet dhcp
Eu editei /etc/resolv.cong
e adicionei nameserver 8.8.8.8
editei /etc/hosts
Eu defino managed=true
em /etc/NetworkManager/NetworkManager.conf
(depois, voltando a managed=false
, porque parece que não funcionou)
Eu tentei definir um IP fixo de acordo com o MAC do meu laptop no meu roteador.
Não consigo editar nada na GUI, todas as opções (Editar conexões ..., etc) estão esmaecidas.
Editar: adicionado ethtool eth0
output conforme solicitado. Tinha que digitá-lo manualmente, agora o link aparentemente não funciona no trabalho (não houve mudança do meu lado, o laptop foi desligado durante a noite e funcionou ontem no trabalho - agora, eu não tem alguma conexão em tudo).
