Tentei:
reinstale ubuntu-restricted - *
reinstale gstreamer0.10-plugins - *
~ / .gstreamer0.10 removido
reinstale o vlc
ffmpeg e todos os addons gstreamer e vlc do Centro de Softwatare instalados
