Meu Debian Jessie com Intel Graphics não pode ir além da resolução 1024x768
.
Eu tentei todos os tipos de guias, e estou aqui porque não consegui fazer funcionar.
xserver-xorg-video-intel
foi instalado automaticamente com a instalação da distro, mas nenhum arquivo Xorg.conf
foi encontrado, ouviu falar que está tudo bem hoje em dia.
Meu PC tem uma saída VGA-RGB (não HDMI) e apenas um monitor

Meu PC é um velho Dell Optiplex 210L. Sim, ele já obteve resoluções mais altas que 1024x768, mas com outras distro linux (mesmo computador, mesmo monitor) ... Em relação ao monitor é o que eu uso para o meu computador pessoal também e eu jogo jogos em 1920x1080 o tempo todo nele , (Samsung SyncMaster SA550 - modelo 823A550H, tanto quanto eu sei) é por isso que eu sei que pode ser feito!
