Como vincular RT2870STA.dat a um AP para conectividade wifi com o TP-Link T2UH AC600?

Eu comprei um adaptador sem fio TP-Link Archer T2UH AC600, eu tenho sido capaz de compilar os drivers bem, mas o problema que estou enfrentando agora é o arquivo RT2870STA.dat . Estou tentando orientar a partir do manual que o TP-Link fornece para máquinas linux, mas estou confuso sobre o que fazer com os campos vazios e a maioria dos campos que eu não entendo o que eles significam.

Existem alguns campos vazios e não sei que tipo de valores existem. Eu entendo para alterar o SSID para o nome da minha conexão wi-fi. Eu não estou tão certo de que valor vai em CountryCode Estou no Canadá, em AuthMode eu acho que deveria estar colocando WPA & WPA2Personal que é o que a minha conexão wi-fi está usando atualmente. Em EncrypType o arquivo tem automaticamente nenhum, não sei ao certo o que é, e WPAPSK seria minha senha. Há também muitos outros campos vazios que eu não sei o que fazer com eles. Como estou tentando configurar meu adaptador sem fio no Kali Linux usando o iwpriv, a configuração exige que eu mova RT2870STA.dat para /etc/Wireless/RT2870STA/RT2870STA.dat para prosseguir. Além disso, para solicitar um ip com o dhclient, preciso configurar o SSID do Access Point. Minha pergunta é como obtenho o SSID do AP? Se eu comparou o valor da minha interface wlan0 a minha interface ra0 o Ponto de Acesso wlan0 parece com um endereço MAC e eu não vejo um endereço MAC do adaptador e eu não sei o valor para colocar lá. Então eu faço systemctl restart network-manager.service
e neste momento eu ser chutado para fora da minha rede, mas eu posso ver que ambos os ícones wifi estão aparecendo no gerenciador de rede, mas ambas as placas dizer "não disponível" como você pode ver na imagem abaixo e há redes estão sendo captados.

Eu tive que fazer isso no meu laptop antigo (hp g6 com RT5390).

muitos dos campos ficam em branco, incluindo o ssid que eu tinha usado uma vez, mas não era necessário.

a principal coisa a fazer era que havia alguns arquivos que precisavam ser editados antes da compilação.

Eu inicializei meu antigo laptop para verificar ... re-extraí o tar e fiz um fundido ...

comentou alguma lógica que estava impedindo:

SET_NETDEV_DEV(net_dev,&(pci-dev->dev))

(sem que o gerenciador de rede não seja suportado, mas a lógica era para o kernel 2.6.0, não me lembro se eu realmente tinha aquele kernel antigo naquele matchine ... provavelmente aconteceu em algum momento).

rt_linux.c

Eu editei o skb- > tail para lançá-lo como um int não-assinado de 32 bits.

e finalmente no makefile:

  • eu removi a lógica e alterei o valor de; CHIPSET = 5390
  • excluiu todas as plataformas do PC
  • excluiu toda a lógica em torno de MAKE MAKE = make

(você provavelmente não terá que passar por todas essas etapas, como eu imagino que eles tenham um release melhor, mas lá estão eles ...)

em relação ao arquivo dat, eu alterei o valor 3x; (mas eles não devem ser necessários se você compilar para o gerenciador de rede, como fiz mais tarde).
