Mod_Auth_MySQL não será compilado no Slackware 13

Eu tentei adicionar o módulo auth_mod_auth (3.0.0) ao meu sistema Slackware 13 (apache 2.2 e MySQL 5.0).

Eu corri a linha de comando usual para apxs (como mencionado no arquivo BUILD)

apxs -c -L/usr/lib/mysql -I/usr/include/mysql -lmysqlclient -lm -lz mod_auth_mysql.c

mas recebi o seguinte erro:

Parece que a biblioteca mysql não corresponde ao que o código espera. Eu olhei em volta e parece ser a última versão disponível do módulo, embora esteja ficando antiga (junho de 2005).

Alguém fez funcionar com uma configuração semelhante? Eu tenho tweaking ao redor por meio dia sem nenhum sucesso: - (

Altera APR_XtOffsetOf para APR_OFFSETOF no arquivo .c .

Patch que resolve o problema:
