depois que eu tive o openSuse rodando nesta máquina sem problemas de Ethernet, eu instalei o Ubuntu 14.04 e corri para um problema Ethernet estranho. Meu colega tem o Ubuntu 12.04 no mesmo tipo de computador e sem problemas.
Meu problema é que aprox. em 2 de 3 vezes quando eu inicializo, a conexão Ethernet levaria muito tempo para estabelecer e então ainda não funcionaria (o ping diria "Host de destino inacessível").
