W: Target Translations

Eu fui enviado aqui com a minha pergunta porque eu estou rodando o Linux Mint Mate e o askubuntu não suporta ajuda com meu sistema operacional, então espero que alguém aqui possa ajudar. Se esta questão já foi postada, peço desculpas e ficarei feliz em derrubá-la.

Minhas listas de fontes não parecem ter nada nelas quando eu as abro, por isso não sei de onde são tiradas essas localizações múltiplas.

Eu tentei a solução python e nada aconteceu.

sources.list contém

Os avisos informam onde estão as duplicatas:

W: Target Packages (main/binary-amd64/Packages) is configured multiple times in /etc/apt/sources.list.d/google-chrome.list:3 and /etc/apt/sources.list.d/google.list:1

Você precisa examinar /etc/apt/sources.list.d/google-chrome.list e /etc/apt/sources.list.d/google.list . Ambos definem os mesmos repositórios, mas o primeiro é melhor porque especifica que o repositório é amd64 -only; você deve remover google.list :

sudo rm /etc/apt/sources.list.d/google.list

Use este comando do terminal

sudo apt install python3-apt
wget https://raw.githubusercontent.com/davidfoerster/apt-remove-duplicate-source-entries/master/apt-remove-duplicate-source-entries.py
chmod +x apt-remove-duplicate-source-entries.py

Estendendo a resposta de Stephen Kitt , foi isso que funcionou para mim:

sudo rm /etc/apt/sources.list.d/google-chrome.list
