Não é possível conectar-se à rede ad hoc de Wifi criada no windows 7 a partir do Ubuntu 14.04

Eu tenho dois laptops. Um deles está rodando no Windows 7 e conectado à internet, embora o fio e outros estejam rodando no Ubuntu 14.04. Eu criei uma rede adhoc wi-fi na máquina windows 7 e compartilhei a conexão com a internet .. De qualquer outra máquina windows eu posso conectar ao wifi e conectar à internet Mas quando eu estou tentando se conectar através da máquina Ubuntu depois de demorar alguns instantes e não conseguiu se conectar ..
