Após atualizar o servidor com apt-get update && apt-get upgrade

Tenho certeza que você também atualizou seu kernel, certo? Verifique os apt-get
logs. Se sim:
reboot
simples assim. Você atualizou seu kernel e agora está tentando carregar um módulo do kernel que é muito novo para o seu kernel.
Não que você tenha perguntado, mas: Tenha em atenção que echo <password> | ..
normalmente será salvo na sua senha em ~/.bash_history
. Isso é especialmente perigoso, já que você parece usar root
login em um servidor publicamente acessível.
