this checking, however this is almost never the correct thing to
do as something else is very likely to go wrong (often causing
much more problems).

Eu gostaria de saber que outros pacotes usam o elfutils-libelf-0.160-1.fc20.i686 Se eles não são importantes, eu os removerei e espero que isso resolva esse problema. Se houver outra maneira de resolver esse problema, avise-me que estou aberto a sugestões.

Você tem as versões x86_64 e x86 (64 e 32 bits) instaladas e, por algum motivo, as versões disponíveis não correspondem (exigem diferentes versões de algo).
Você pode tentar remover as versões i686 com:
yum erase elfutils-libelf.i686 llvm-libs.i686
Isso perguntará se você deseja excluir esses (e os pacotes que dependem deles).
Em qualquer caso, o Fedora 20 está fora do seu ciclo de vida, por favor atualize.
Você pode executar yum erase elfutils-libelf nos pacotes dependentes que precisarão ser removidos para remover o elfutils-libelf.
