interface sem fio pára de funcionar, netcfg relata nenhuma rede encontrada

Estou tendo um problema recorrente com a instalação do Arch Linux: o wireless funcionará por alguns minutos e, em seguida, morrerá aleatoriamente. Quando tento reiniciá-lo através do menu wifi, sou informado de que não existem redes.

Toda vez que isso acontece, tenho que reiniciar para que a internet funcione. Existe algum comando systemd que eu possa usar para reiniciá-lo manualmente? Este é um problema que posso resolver permanentemente?

Eu não tenho uma máquina de chipset Centrino, mas eu uso o Arch no meu laptop e experimentei muitos cartões e drivers sem fio.

Um pouco de googling me mostra isso:

Parece também que alguns laptops têm um comutador sem fio externo. Certifique-se de que está "ligado".
