problema de conexão com a Internet com cartão sem fio rtl8192ce / toshiba satellite / realtek

** Atualização - tentei desativar o recurso de economia de energia do firmware da placa sem fio e agora fico conectado quando estou a aproximadamente 15 pés do roteador. Antes de migrar para o Ubuntu, eu tinha uma conexão confiável pelo menos duas vezes e todos os outros itens do Wi-Fi ainda se conectam a mais de 30 pés. Antes de desativar o recurso de economia de energia do firmware, não consegui ficar conectado próximo ao roteador. Porque isso parece ter ajudado eu vou olhar para as instruções que vi sobre como desativar outro recurso de economia de energia para a placa wireless. Vou postar tanto o comando que já usei quanto o outro comando assim que os encontrar novamente - ambos estavam no mesmo post.

** update: os comandos que eu executei foram:

sudo modprobe -v rtl8192ce ips=0 fwlps=0

... mas eles não parecem receber um sinal confiável de mais de 15 pés do roteador. Novamente, vários outros dispositivos Wi-Fi recebem o sinal a mais de 10 metros de distância e este computador também funcionou até o Ubuntu. Vou precisar manter isso até encontrar uma correção, porque não posso usar meu laptop apenas na sala com o roteador. :)

Estou com menos de 24 horas no Linux / Ubuntu. Eu estou no 12.04 LTS. (quando isso foi publicado pela primeira vez)

Eu posso me conectar à internet bem no começo. Mas em algum lugar entre 2 minutos e 20 minutos eu não consigo mais visualizar novas páginas da web, embora eu ainda pareça estar conectado ao roteador. Desconectando e reconectando correções toda vez.

Corri algumas coisas que parece provável que me perguntem se já consultou outras publicações semelhantes. Por favor, deixe-me saber se você precisar de mais alguma coisa.

Qualquer ajuda seria muito apreciada !!!

Além disso, embora eu tenha tido alguma dificuldade para instalar o 12.04 (tive problemas com arquivos grub / boot), estou disposto a mudar para 13 se isso resolver o problema. Em relação ao 13 e ao suporte de 9 meses, isso significa que terei que instalar uma nova versão do Ubuntu em 9 meses para continuar recebendo segurança / outras atualizações? Ou será que 13 apenas se tornará o novo LTS? Eu sei que é uma questão muito básica, mas ei, eu sou um noob do Linux!

Use

sudo iwconfig wlan0 retry 20 

para obter um melhor alcance do seu laptop. Isso aumentará a repetição de solicitações com falha.

Meu laptop começa a travar com os kernels mais recentes (3.5.0-47-generic e 48 também) então eu baixei os drivers direto da Realtek. Eu estava preocupado, pois eles listavam os kernels pré e pós 2.6.24. Isso é um pouco velho. No entanto 3.5.0-47 é postar ...

Mas, tendo o suficiente com a falha completa e a necessidade de reinicializar, fiz uma tentativa.

E eu estou feliz que eu fiz!

Extraia e siga o readme. Eu acho que você precisa disso para cada nova atualização do kernel, já que atualizou apenas o kernel atual.
