Montando Softraid Criptografado no OpenBSD

A configuração

Eu tenho uma máquina rodando o OpenBSD, ela tem dois SSDs: sd0 e sd1 .

Eu configurei cada SSD com duas partições a e d .

De lá, construí dois espelhos usando bioctl :

O primeiro espelho é criado a partir de sd0a e sd1a ; isso aparece como sd2

O segundo espelho é criado a partir de sd0d e sd1d ; isso aparece como sd3

A raiz do sistema / está montada em sd2a .

Em seguida, usei bioctl para criar um softraid criptografado no topo de sd3 ; isso aparece como sd4 .

O restante do sistema é montado em sd4 : /usr , /home , /tmp , /var etc.

O problema

Quando o sistema inicializa, obviamente reclama que não é possível encontrar /var /usr /tmp etc. Consigo descartar um shell e anexar manualmente o contêiner criptografado com o comando: bioctl -c C -l /dev/sd3a softraid0 . Então eu saio do shell e o sistema inicializa bem. Mas quando tento automatizar isso com um script em rc.local ou rc.securelevel , não funciona ...

Este é o script que eu tentei em rc.local e rc.securelevel

editar Como pedimos aqui, é a mensagem de inicialização - eu marquei o local que ele chega quando quebra e reclama que não pode encontrar / var / tmp / usr etc.

Então, depois de pesquisar e ler aqui, encontrei o que encontrei: rc.local e até rc.securelevel são chamados tarde demais nos scripts rc para serem usados para montar o restante do sistema de arquivos. Um rápido grep através dos scripts rc deixou claro que o softraid criptografado precisa ser anexado logo antes que o código "Check filesystems" seja executado no rc. Para garantir que o código só é executado na inicialização, adicionei o seguinte logo acima do script "Verificar sistemas de arquivos" no rc:

Para ficar claro, eu não gosto dessa solução, pois terei que ser cauteloso com as atualizações que substituem / modificam o rc, mas não vejo uma maneira de contornar isso. Se alguém do OpenBSD tiver uma solução melhor, por favor me avise!

Eu sei que isso é super básico, mas eu acho que isso pode salvar alguém de algum tempo, então deixo a questão para cima. Testar também a recuperação / consistência do conteúdo criptografado em cima de um espelho que perdeu um disco (e foi recriado) parece falhar. Não parece ser capaz de ver / manipular o dispositivo criptografado - é uma pena que o OpenBSD ainda não consiga lidar com isso. Você terá que olhar para as soluções de hardware para o espelho e, em seguida, usar o FDE no OpenBSD, ou usar um O / S diferente.

Como explicitamente indicado no FAQ : modos empilhados de "softraid" (drives espelhados e criptografia, por exemplo) não é suportado neste momento .
