Fedora: os cabeçalhos de kernel instalados não são os mesmos que os relatados por (uname -r)

Acabei de atualizar meu kernel no Fedora como ele me pediu em um pop-up de rotina.

Após a atualização, é isso que tenho:

Meu sistema acha que tenho a versão 4.13.9 , enquanto dnf acha que tenho 4.14.14 instalado.

Eu tentei instalar manualmente o 4.14.14 via

[root@redberret ~]# dnf install kernel-4.14.14-300.fc27.x86_64

Ainda estou mostrando 4.13.9 em $(uname -r) .

Na minha tela do GRUB, vejo duas opções de inicialização: a versão do kernel 4.13.9 ou a unidade de recuperação.

Eu pesquisei por aí, e alguns tópicos sugeriram que era devido a uma instalação antiga do sistema operacional. Pode ser o caso desde que eu tinha atualizado isso do Fedora 26 para o Fedora 27, e essa atualização me deu alguns problemas.
