Não é possível executar emerge-webrsync porque diz que os instantâneos não foram encontrados.
Também não posso executar mirrorselect , pois recebo o comando não encontrado.
Por fim, tentei executar:
$ emerge --ask app-portage/mirrorselect
mas isso retorna o seguinte erro:

Você pode tentar usar eselect profile list e, em seguida, selecionar o perfil certo com o comando eselect profile set ... . O manual do gentoo sugere usar o mesmo perfil que o tarbal / livecd que você usou para instalar o gentoo no seu disco rígido. Então você deve poder usar emerge --sync e emerge -DuNa world para atualizar seu sistema.
