Anything-sync-daemon não está fazendo instantâneos de backup

Eu tenho o Anything-sync-daemon ("asd") instalado e minimamente configurado de acordo com esta página:

A execução de asd p fornece a seguinte saída:

Asd will manage the following per /run/asd.conf settings:

owner/group id:     myuser/1000
target to manage:   /home/myuser/.cache
sync target:        /home/myuser/.cache-backup_asd
tmpfs target:       /tmp/asd-myuser/home/myuser/.cache
dir size:           3.3G
recovery dirs:      none

A execução de cat /etc/asd.conf mostra tudo nos valores padrão, exceto WHATTOSYNC:

WHATTOSYNC=(
    '/home/myuser/.cache'
)

#BACKUP_LIMIT=5

O BACKUP_LIMIT é o padrão, conforme mostrado acima.

systemctl list-timers mostra:

Como posso dizer ao asd para fazer instantâneos de backup?
