Por que meu cliente VPN não está disponível (não é possível trocar dados)?

Eu estabeleci uma conexão entre minha VM e meu cliente Ubuntu

Em seguida, a partir do servidor ou do cliente, vejo a interface tun :

Mas, neste caso, não consigo pingar 10.8.0.5 . Não consigo trocar dados entre o cliente e o servidor.

Qual é o meu erro?

Eu também tentei adicionar essas regras a iptables

iptables -A INPUT -i tun+ -j ACCEPT
iptables -A FORWARD -i tun+ -j ACCEPT
iptables -A INPUT -i tap+ -j ACCEPT
iptables -A FORWARD -i tap+ -j ACCEPT
