Como atualizo o Ubuntu quando o sistema de pacotes está quebrado?

Eu tenho tentado atualizar o Gallium OS (que é baseado no Ubuntu), no entanto, continuo recebendo mensagens de erro. Qualquer ajuda seria apreciada. Por favor, veja uma captura de tela da mensagem de erro abaixo:

Possível solução seria renomear esse diretório e forçar a instalação assim,

sudo mv /usr/share/doc/libssl1.0.0 /usr/share/doc/libssl1.0.0.backup
sudo apt-get -f install

Ou isso também pode resolver o seu problema,

apt-get install libssl1.0.0 libssl1.0.0:i386
