Driver do kernel para trackpoint no Lenovo Thinkpad 13

Question

Em outros ThinkPads, configurei com sucesso o trackpoint com o udev usando este método mas no meu novo Lenovo Thinkpad 13 isso não é possível:

Este comando:

find /sys/devices/platform/i8042 -name name | xargs grep -Fl TrackPoint | sed 's/\/input\/input[0-9]*\/name$//'

... saídas:

/sys/devices/platform/i8042/serio1

Mas nem essa pasta nem nenhuma das subpastas contêm os arquivos sensitivity e speed . O mesmo problema foi confirmado por proprietário do ThinkPad 13 em outro kernel e distribuição .

Eu estou supondo que o driver do kernel não detecta corretamente que o dispositivo é de fato um trackpoint. Esta suposição é apoiada por esta avaliação de hardware (não muito informativa) do Ubuntu.

Um método alternativo para configurar o trackpoint é usar xinput, mas como minha distro - Debian - har mudou para libinput, esta é uma dor de cabeça própria devido a este bug (que aparentemente está afetando o Fedora também.)

Eu realmente gostaria de poder configurar o trackpoint por meio do udev e do método acima, mas não sei como depurar ainda mais.

A avaliação de hardware do Ubuntu significa que é um problema de hardware insolúvel?

Ou é um bug do kernel?
