Nenhum desktop após a instalação do driver nvidia

Eu rodei o Debian 8 Jessie no meu laptop Sony Vaio. Ele tem um chip gráfico Nvidia Geforce GT 640M LE .

Eu segui o artigo oficial do Debian Wiki para instalar o nvidia-drivers em vez do nouveau:

Agora estou executando o Nvidia Driver 352.79 , que deve ser compatível com a minha GPU de acordo com as páginas wiki mencionadas. Após a instalação eu corri nvidia-xconfig que criou um /etc/X11/xorg.conf para mim automaticamente:

Esqueça o nvidia-driver

Tudo que você precisa para uma placa GeForce é Bumblebee.
