quando parted com a opção "free" é executada quando há espaço não alocado no final do disco (não consumido pela partição), eu recebo este erro ..
[root@sprintlab423vm4 ~]# parted /dev/disk/by-path/pci-0000:03:00.0-scsi-0:0:1:0 unit MB print free

O mesmo comando funciona em outros casos em que suspeito que o disco esteja completamente alocado por meio de partições. (não veja o aviso)

Por que não reconheceria "livre" quando cuspisse o aviso para o espaço não alocado?
