Estou tentando fazer com que o meu Headset USB Jabra BIZ 2400 funcione na minha instalação do Debian Jessie, mas não recebo nada dos fones de ouvido.
Eu instalei o Audacity para testar coisas e ele gravará o áudio, mas então reproduzirá o que soa como 400% (estridente e rápido) mesmo que dure os três segundos que eu disse "testando 1, 2, 3 , testando ".
De Debian Sound no XTronics Wiki sugere-se o seguinte para instalar:

Isso remove toda a seleção de 'dispositivo preferencial' nas Configurações de Áudio / Vídeo, substituindo-a pelo Servidor de Som PulseAudio, juntamente com uma guia adicional 'Configuração de Hardware de Áudio', selecionando Jabra BIZ 2400 USB juntamente com Saída Estéreo Digital / Mono Analógico Entrada em HARDWARE e PlayBack (Saída Digital Estéreo / Digital USB Jabra BIZ 2400 (S / PDIF).
Mas os botões de teste (FRONT LEFT / RIGHT) não fazem nada.
Qualquer ideia.
EDITAR: Não sei se é relevante, mas ao procurar por programas relacionados a áudio para verificar minha máquina, eu encontrei [Jack Audio Connection Kit], ele gera um erro ao iniciar com as seguintes notas:
