. Existe uma maneira de desabilitar esse comportamento para que ele apenas solicite uma senha se o usuário tentar acessar um compartilhamento protegido?

Cliente: Windows 7 SP1 A máquina do cliente é VPN na rede local do cliente, mas não faz parte do domínio do AD. O Samba está configurado para o Bizco.com (nosso cliente), digamos que meu laptop faça parte do domínio do Fuzzypants.com.
