Obtendo o AMD Catalyst e o Touchpad para funcionar no Laptop Samsung (NP730U3E) [fechado]

Eu tenho um laptop Samsung NP730U3E e tenho grandes problemas para encontrar uma boa instalação para Linux.

Eu já experimentei várias distribuições, mas todas tiveram algumas desvantagens importantes:

• O Ubuntu e o UbuntuGnome (12.04 e 13.10) funcionaram como um encanto até que eu tentei instalar Amd Catalyst para que a placa de vídeo AMD Radeon HD 8570M funcione. No começo parecia que tudo estava bem, mas na primeira reinicialização tudo caiu. Apenas ficou preto e congelou. Eu poderia entrar no terminal via Ctrl + Alt + F2, mas todas as interfaces gráficas pareciam mortas.
• No Debian 7.4, por outro lado, os drivers gráficos funcionaram como um encanto! Estável e funcionando! Infelizmente, meu touch pad não funcionou , o que o tornou inútil.
• O Fedora 20 funciona muito bem com os drivers synaptics para o touch pad, mas o Catalyst não parece instalar (já tentei os drivers 13.12 e 14.3 Beta). Apenas saídas:

O Driver de exibição do x86 proprietário do AMD Catalyst ™ 14.4 Linux funciona muito bem O Ubuntu 14.04 LTS e o touchpad também funcionam bem.
