O Lifecam Cinema impede a inicialização no Ubuntu 13.10

Quando tenho a webcam com câmara de vida ligada, então Existem problemas para iniciar o sistema operacional (Ubuntu 13.1). Como sou novo no Ubuntu, só posso descrever o que acontece. Ele inicializa até uma tela marrom (diferente da tela temática na área de trabalho atual) pedindo uma senha. Eu digito, mas não aparece no campo de entrada de senha. Então noto a luz na webcam, depois um som tabla, depois congelo.

Depois que eu desconectar a webcam, o Ubuntu inicializa normalmente, na tela de entrada de senha com o tema.

Eu tenho a mesma câmera, duas delas na verdade. Eles funcionaram bem em 12.10 mas não funcionam bem em 13.04 / 13.10 e eu quero dizer que foi o kernel que mudou, mas não tenho certeza. O meu não bloqueia completamente o PC, mas permanece por 30 segundos com o LED azul aceso e a luz se apaga e eu posso continuar a fazer o login. Ele basicamente bloqueia a tela de login enquanto o LED está aceso.

Também é muito esquisito com o bate-papo por vídeo. A câmera é aberta no Hangouts do Google para a visualização, mas não tem som e trava completamente em poucos segundos após a conexão da outra pessoa. Se eu abrir o aplicativo Propriedades de som na página Entradas com o microfone LifeCam selecionado (que ativa a câmera para mostrar a visualização ao vivo) e deixar a página Propriedades do som aberta enquanto abro o bate-papo do Hangouts, a câmera continua funcionando perfeitamente. p>

Tente instalar o kernel 3.13. É isso que estou usando (3.13-rc2) do Kernel PPA. Pode ser que, pelo menos, seja possível inicializá-lo se você esperar. Estou usando o Ubuntu GNOME 13.10 + 3.13-rc2 kernel amd64 + drivers gráficos OIBA PPA em um sistema Intel i7 930 + Radeon 5870, embora o sistema em si não pareça importar, já que uso minha segunda câmera em meu processador AMD A8-3870K. sistema e faz a mesma coisa.
