Não é possível instalar nenhum pacote usando o apt

Parece que alguns pacotes no meu Ubuntu (Ubuntu 10.04.4 LTS, lucid) estão quebrados, impedindo-me de instalar novos pacotes. Eu tenho passado por questões semelhantes neste site, mas tudo prova inútil. A seguir estão alguns comandos que eu tentei junto com as saídas:

Espero que alguém possa me ajudar, obrigado antecipadamente!

[EDIT]: Eu finalmente resolvi o problema reinstalando o sistema. Na verdade, não preciso reinstalar, apenas re-emparelhar o sistema com todos os dados mantidos intactos.

Como último recurso, eu iria ao Gerenciador de Pacotes Synaptic e tentaria seu item de menu " Corrigir pacotes quebrados " no menu Editar . Se isso falhar eu vou, no mesmo programa verificar todos os pacotes quebrados e removê-los (se falhar no synaptic basta fazê-lo no terminal sudo apt-get remove ) e então eu faço sudo apt-get autoremove e s udo apt-get autoclean

Antes de tentar instalá-los, você precisa executar sudo apt-get update

A propósito, qual foi o último pacote que você tentou instalar que quebrou as coisas? Isso é importante e deve fazer parte da sua pergunta!
