ubuntu 12.10 sem fio não está funcionando [duplicado]

Question

Eu sou novo no Ubuntu. Eu tinha instalado o Ubuntu 12.10 no meu laptop. Sem fio não está funcionando. Não está detectando as redes disponíveis. Eu sou capaz de conectar através de fio.

Por favor, ajude-me a conectar-se através de Wi-Fi.

Talvez seu hardware seja um pouco mais antigo; ainda não suporta os sistemas operacionais mais recentes.

Você pode instalar um driver antigo do Windows e testar se ele funciona no Ubuntu. (Ubuntu 10.04) link

UPDATE Descobri que o chip Broadcom 4311 parou de funcionar tão cedo quanto o Ubuntu 11.x, pode ser o caso de o chip Broadcom 4312 estar com defeito no Ubuntu 12.x. Tente instalar o seguinte driver ( bcmwl-kernel-source ) de acordo com o manual e veja se funciona: link
