Este é um problema conhecido no programa GeoClue, mas já foi corrigido na versão 2.5. 0 Atualizar para essa versão deve resolver seu problema.
Não consigo obter o Redshift para recuperar informações de geolocalização do GeoClue2. O estado agora, após uma reinicialização e sem ter alterado nenhum pacote ou configuração desde a reinicialização, é que
o serviço GeoClue está em execução:
$ systemctl status geoclue.service

O GeoClue está configurado para permitir o acesso do Redshift:
$ tail --lines=4 /etc/geoclue/geoclue.conf

e ainda assim o Redshift não consegue iniciar:
$ redshift

O serviço do usuário exibe um comportamento diferente :
Trying location provider 'geoclue2'...

Unable to start GeoClue client: GDBus.Error:org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.AccessDenied: 'redshift' disallowed, no agent for UID 1000.
Access to the current location was denied by GeoClue!
Make sure that location services are enabled and that Redshift is permitted

information.
Unable to get location from provider.
Parece haver um hack disponível para contornar um problema semelhante - a mensagem de erro acima é diferente daquela página ao iniciar o programa manualmente - mas estou interessado em saber se uma correção mais permanente está disponível ou sendo trabalhada.
