Como instalar o Gnome 3.2 no Debian 8.7?

O Gnome 3.2 está atualmente em testing (Stretch) . Como o nome indica, a versão "testing" do Debian não é tão estável quanto, eh, "stable"!

Dito isto, é definitivamente muito mais seguro do que rodar o Debian instável. A maneira mais fácil de instalar o Gnome 3.2 provavelmente seria mudar para o teste. Ou ...

• If you are a desktop user with a lot of experience in the operating system and do not mind facing the odd bug now and then, or even full system breakage, use unstable. It has all the latest and greatest software, and bugs are usually fixed swiftly.

Em vez de preocupar-se com o Debian 8, o 9.0 (Stretch) está próximo e é bastante estável - é o meu driver diário, e eu vou mantê-lo por um ano de qualquer maneira quando ele ficar estável. O Stretch tem o Gnome 3.22.2 e é muito sólido para mim (já que está congelado).
