Tente:
gphoto2 -f /store_00020002/DCIM/100PHOTO -d 1
Tendo alguns problemas simplesmente tentando excluir arquivos usando o gphoto2 de um dispositivo MTP-PTP. Estou no Ubuntu-Mate.
Se eu listar arquivos usando gphoto2 --list-files , obtenho
There is no file in folder '/'. There is no file in folder '/store_00020002'. There is no file in folder '/store_00020002/DCIM'. There is 1 file in folder '/store_00020002/DCIM/100PHOTO'.
#1 FOO_0008.MP4 rd 83232 KB video/mp4 There is 1 file in folder '/store_00020002/DCIM/Camera'.
#2 20161222_130348.jpg rd 604 KB image/jpeg There are 2 files in folder '/store_00020002/SYSTEM'.

No meu caso, o número do arquivo é 1 e eu emito
gphoto2 -d 1
que retorna o seguinte erro
*** Error *** There are no files in folder '/'. *** Error (-2: 'Bad parameters') ***
Talvez eu esteja interpretando o uso incorretamente?
