Gráficos integrados Intel Braswell no Debian Jessie

Estou tendo problemas para fazer Jessie usar os gráficos integrados em um Celeron N3050 (Braswell).

Eu tentei instalar o xserver-xorg-video-intel de jessie-backports mas isso não ajuda.

O problema raiz que estou tendo é que xrandr não pode identificar o gama e, portanto, não pode definir os parâmetros do dispositivo de saída (o que me interessa principalmente é brilho ).

Tendo acabado de me deparar com o problema (mesmos problemas, hardware e resultados similares que você cita aqui), lutei com uma variedade de ajustes e configurações do Xorg sem sorte até descobrir que a única correção que funcionava para mim era atualizar meu kernel de 3.16 a 4.9 através dos backports de Jessie:

sudo apt-get -t jessie-backports install linux-image-4.9.0-0.bpo.2-amd64

Na minha solução de problemas, ter retornado o mesmo erro de glxgears como encontrado em essa questão SE , eu tentei as bibliotecas sugeridas na segunda solução que corrigiu apenas os erros de gráficos 3D, mas para obter controle total sobre a exibição e retornar a funcionalidade para xrandr, xbacklight, etc, a atualização do kernel era necessária. As coisas associadas ao display / backlight funcionaram da caixa de lá, incluindo as chaves de mídia de luz de fundo.
