Acabei de instalar uma nova cópia do 12.04.1 64bit. Formatei meu computador completamente e habilitei atualizações durante a instalação. Após a conclusão da instalação, continuei atualizando meu software.
No entanto, quando eu queria instalar os drivers adicionais usando a ferramenta Drivers adicionais (ou seja, "driver de gráficos FGLRX proprietário da ATI / AMD"), isso me deu este erro:
SystemError: E:Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages.
O mesmo erro aparece se eu tentar instalar o driver post-release updates .
A instalação dos drivers do terminal resulta nesta saída:

Qualquer ajuda seria muito apreciada.
(Por favor, note que eu sou novo no Linux, vindo diretamente do Windows. Eu tentei o Ubuntu duas vezes antes, mas não foi por um longo período de tempo. Os drivers foram instalados sem problemas algumas vezes tentei o Ubuntu, mas as atualizações pós-lançamento nunca funcionaram para mim.)
