Reparar unidade flash USB (não é possível ler a tabela de partições)

Question

Eu estava criando USB ao vivo através do criador do disco de inicialização do ubuntu, quando ele falhou. Agora o pau é completamente transformado em batata. Eu vejo seus metadados e tamanho, mas não posso particionar nem formatá-lo. Eu não preciso de nenhum dado, apenas fazê-lo funcionar novamente seria perfeito.
