Editar: A solução fornecida pela Zsolt Rizsányi funciona, alternativamente eu escolho mudar o meu cartão WiFi por um Intel 8265 que tem um melhor alcance e um melhor suporte da frequência 5G.

e a correção para esse problema foi lançada na versão WLAN.RM.4.4.1-00051-QCARMSWP-1
, o que significa que você precisa de uma versão posterior à última para que a placa funcione corretamente nos kernels 4.12.
A partir de hoje, esse bug pode ser corrigido simplesmente substituindo os arquivos board-2.bin
(não necessários, mas recomendados) e firmware-6.bin
pelo que está atualmente no repositório upstream de linux-firmware

Defina o período de atualização da chave de grupo WPA / WPA2 como 86400, conforme mostrado na captura de tela.
Salve suas configurações e reinicie seu modem / roteador.
