Problemas de rede desde o Trusty

Desde a atualização (nova instalação) para o Trusty (Kubuntu - EDIT e agora o Ubuntu vanilla, eu mudei novamente para solucionar este problema ) eu notei problemas de rede.

Exatamente a cada dois minutos, minha rede adivinha por um momento, mas logo volta a ficar on-line. Isso é claramente refletido no syslog:

Ainda não resolvi muito tempo, acabei de instalar há um dia. Eu queria saber se alguém já viu esse problema antes? Eu não me lembro de ver isso de volta quando eu estava no Ubuntu 13.10 com exatamente o mesmo hardware há apenas 3 dias.

Isso é tão frustrante. Eu não posso estar sempre na cat5. Como eu disse antes, isso nunca aconteceu em 13.10. Eu realmente não quero fazer downgrade. Existe uma maneira que eu possa usar os drivers de wifi de 13.10?

Além disso, alterei minha segurança de Wi-Fi de WPA2 para 128 WEP e, até agora, apenas desconectei uma vez em algumas horas. No WPA2, era a cada 10 em média.

Oops, isso vem acontecendo desde 2009 e um desenvolvedor respondeu que é simplesmente para roaming em ambientes corporativos com vários pontos de acesso para se conectar. Se você tiver apenas um AP em casa, entre no gerenciador de rede, selecione "Editar Conexão", destaque seu AP / wlan0 e clique em "Editar". Em seguida, clique na seta para baixo ao lado de BSSID, que está em branco. Em seguida, selecione o endereço mac que estava oculto antes.

         

Minhas desculpas por vincular isso a um problema 802.11n. Uma vez mordido duas vezes tímido, eu acho ....

  

Eu fiz essas etapas e as linhas de varredura e erro deixaram de ser registradas. Ainda não posso dizer se minha conexão está mais estável, mas tentarei lembrar de atualizar essa resposta em um dia ou dois.

Estou de volta 3 semanas depois (perdi a guia aberta, oops) e acho que ajudou. Eu ainda recebo as conexões estranhas, mas elas não parecem tão comuns quanto eu me lembro de estarem de volta quando eu encontrei esta pergunta pela primeira vez.

Eu provavelmente tenho o mesmo problema, veja " Desautenticação freqüente de Wifi (Razão: 6) em um Centrino Advanced-N 6230 [Rainbow Peak] ".

Acho que encontrei uma solução desativando o modo-N wifi. Isso pode ser feito temporariamente (após remover o módulo) com "modprobe iwlwifi 11n_disable = 1" ou permanentemente adicionando "options iwlwifi 11n_disable = 1" a algum arquivo em /etc/modprobe.d.

Talvez devêssemos abrir um bug no bugzilla.kernel.org?

@Jordan, eu encontrei uma solução alternativa, ou seja, parar o gerenciador de rede para evitar a varredura de AP a cada 2 segundos, que é onde eu acho que há possivelmente um bug no código do driver wpa_supplicant. Depois de me conectar ao meu AP, eu corro o seguinte ...

sudo killall -STOP NetworkManager

Embora eu use a rede sem fio na minha área de trabalho, ela é estacionária e eu realmente não preciso do NetworkManager constantemente procurando APs e resolvendo esse problema. Até que esse problema seja corrigido no driver, continuarei com o trabalho acima.

Pode ser um bug no driver do Linux, no firmware do ponto de acesso ou em ambos. Desativar a ajuda para economizar energia? desligamento do wlan0 do iwconfig

Para diminuir o problema, você pode tentar usar um ponto de acesso diferente e um adaptador Wi-Fi USB. Infelizmente, esses tipos de problemas são difíceis de diagnosticar.
