Como corrigir o erro “AP changed bandwidth” com ath10k_pci no CentOS 7?

Question

Estou enfrentando problemas com uma determinada rede wifi - a conexão pára de funcionar mesmo que o Gnome GUI seja exibido como conectado. Quando isso acontece, o dmesg reporta wlp2s0: AP changed bandwidth, new config is 2452 MHz, width 2 (2442/0 MHz) . Eu tenho que desligar e ligar o Wi-Fi para que ele funcione. Isso acontece apenas para uma rede específica que eu conecto. Eu suspeito que isso pode ser causado por alguma propriedade do roteador para mudar a largura de banda - e eu não tenho controle sobre isso.

Isso está acontecendo no kernel 3.10.0-693.21.1.el7.x86_64. Eu instalei o 4.16.2-1.el7.elrepo.x86_64 mas se eu inicializá-lo sempre que o problema acontecer, o sistema congelará e eu tenho que reiniciá-lo.

O que devo fazer para corrigir isso?
