Não é possível atualizar o PIA da versão 75 para 77

O acesso privado à Internet é um dos meus provedores de VPN.

Não é possível atualizar PIA da versão 75 para a 77 com o seguinte erro.

Eu tentei desinstalar PIA v75 e executar o instalador novamente com o mesmo resultado.

As mensagens de erro são as seguintes:

Percebi que não tenho um diretório /opt presente no sistema.

A solução foi bem simples, para criar esse diretório, ou seja:

sudo mkdir /opt

E, em seguida, execute o instalador novamente.

Obviamente, o instalador não conta com tal caso, onde o diretório /opt não está presente no sistema.
