Teclado HID personalizado que não funciona no Ubuntu

Eu implementei um teclado HID de teste usando um microcontrolador STM32.

Nada é legal, apenas envia um fluxo contínuo de 'A' uma vez conectado na velocidade de 10 / s.

Funciona bem no Windows. Mas quando conectado à minha máquina Ubuntu 16, nada aparece mesmo que seja reconhecido corretamente e não vejo erros com o dmesg

Eu testei com evtest e vejo que os dados estão chegando bem, só não sendo exibidos na tela por algum motivo

Se evtest funcionar, todas as camadas do kernel envolvidas (HID, entrada) funcionarão, então o problema está na tradução de /dev/input/event* para X ou Wayland (o que você estiver executando). Portanto, por alguma razão, o driver X evdev ou libinput (o que você estiver usando) não atende ao seu dispositivo HID.

Para o X11, veja /var/log/Xorg.0.log para pistas e possivelmente escreva um xorg.conf personalizado para forçar a inclusão. Você pode usar xev para ver os eventos X e xinput para controlar os dispositivos de entrada X. Eu não posso te ajudar com Wayland.
