Eu usei a mesma configuração para adicionar com êxito uma segunda entrada de menu e inicializá-la via "grub2-reboot # & reinicialização" no CentOS 7, mas nada que eu pareça altere a seleção de entrada de menu para a próxima inicialização o FreePBX Distro 7.
Alguma ideia sobre o que tentar resolver / testar / corrigir?

Eu também tentei o seguinte e obter os mesmos resultados:
sudo rm /boot/grub2/grub.cfg
sudo rm /etc/grub.d/* -R
sudo rm /etc/sysconfig/grub
yum reinstall -y grub2-tools
grub2-mkconfig -o /boot/grub2/grub.cfg
grub2-install /dev/sda
So FreePBX Usa o próprio Repo, então eu segui o código acima, mas baixei manualmente o grub2-tools, agora eu recebo o seguinte erro:
