xorg não está funcionando

Ontem, meu xorg estava funcionando, mas estava usando gráficos integrados. Eu tentei fazer a nvidia funcionar. Agora, quando eu corro startx , eu recebo uma tela no tty3 que mostra a saída do último tty em que eu estava. Por exemplo, eu pressionei ctrl + alt + f1, digite startx e mudei para tty3, onde recebo uma tela preta com um cursor sólido. Se eu voltar para o tty0 eu posso ver a saída do startx que não mostra nenhum erro (além do menor aviso do gtk css) e um cursor piscando. Quando eu volto para o tty3, vejo a mesma coisa com um cursor sólido.

Bem-vindo à guerra da Nvidia vs. Linux!

1- Primeiro, limpe todos os drivers da Nvidia:

  • sudo apt-get purge nvidia-*

2- Em seguida, reconfigure seu xorg:

  • Faça uma cópia e salve-a em um local seguro > este arquivo > /etc/X11/xorg.conf. Se as coisas derem errado, você pode precisar mais tarde:

sudo mv /etc/X11/xorg.conf /etc/X11/xorg.conf.BACKUP

Os próximos passos irão reconfigurar seu xorg e instalar novos drivers (intel GPU)

sudo apt-get install nouveau-firmware

sudo dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg

Agora, para obter a Nvidia no seu sistema Linux, você precisa do BumbleBee!
