Não há som após a instalação no RaspberryPi

Eu tenho o RaspPi 1B +. Hoje fiz uma nova instalação do Debian e não tenho som na tomada.

Na configuração do dispositivo de áudio na GUI, o sistema mostra o bcm2835 ALSA como padrão. Eu instalei o Rhythmbox e o arquivo mp3 deve ficar bem.

Eu tenho uma tela conectada via HDMI.

O que pode estar errado? Como posso verificar o que está acontecendo?

Consegui corrigi-lo seguindo as etapas em este link . Eu escolhi o raspi-config way, ie.

sudo raspi-config

Então:

Select Option 8 Advanced Options and press Enter, then select Option A6: Audio and press Enter:

Now you are presented with the two modes explained above as an alternative to the default Auto option. Select a mode, press Enter and press the right arrow key to exit the options list, then select Finish to exit the configuration tool.

Agora reiniciado e funciona.
