Ícones e mensagem de erro ausentes ao executar o gnome-terminator (construído a partir de fontes)

Question

Acabei de instalar o terminador a partir de fontes que obtive aqui .

Parece que há uma versão de desenvolvimento que funciona melhor, mas eu não consegui encontrá-la (o launchpad é muito confuso).

Quando eu iniciei um terminal, estou recebendo:

EDIT2: A construção e instalação foram OK, sem mensagem ou aviso. Mas quando eu lanço o terminador de outro aplicativo de terminal, esta mensagem aparece. E, de fato, a maioria dos ícones no terminador estão confusos (substituídos pelo X feio)

Eu tentei instalar o icon-theme-hicolor , eu tive que criá-lo, tudo correu bem, mas eu não vejo o ícone do form em seus (muitos) diretórios.

Como posso obter o terminador funcionando corretamente?
