Não é possível configurar a senha menos ssh no host local

Eu segui todas as etapas descritas na resposta -

1. ssh-keygen -t rsa
Press enter for each line
2. cat ~/.ssh/id_rsa.pub >> ~/.ssh/authorized_keys
3. chmod og-wx ~/.ssh/authorized_keys

Eu também tentei isso -

This can be accomplished with the NoHostAuthenticationForLocalhost option, either used on the command line with -o NoHostAuthenticationForLocalhost or by inserting NoHostAuthenticationForLocalhost yes into ~/.ssh/config.

Todas as minhas permissões estão definidas corretamente, por exemplo,

-rw-r--r--. 1 user user 1537 Feb 17 17:47 authorized_keys
-rw-r--r--. 1 user user 1537 Feb 17 17:47 authorized_keys~
-rw-r--r--. 1 user user 175 Oct 14 16:04 config
-rw-------. 1 user user 1743 Feb 17 17:44 id_rsa
-rw-r--r--. 1 user user 399 Feb 17 17:44 id_rsa.pub
-rw-r--r--. 1 user user 739 Feb 17 17:41 id_rsa.pub~
-rw-r--r--. 1 user user 4803 Feb 10 10:52 known_hosts
-rw-r--r--. 1 user user 4397 Feb 10 10:52 known_hosts~
-rw-------. 1 user user 4803 Feb 10 10:31 known_hosts.old

permissões de .ssh -

drwx------. 2 user user 4096 Feb 17 17:47 .ssh

Ao fazer um sudo /usr/sbin/sshd -d , segue a saída -

# This is the ssh client system-wide configuration file. See
# ssh_config(5) for more information. This file provides defaults for
# users, and the values can be changed in per-user configuration files
# or on the command line.

# Configuration data is parsed as follows:
# 1. command line options
# 2. user-specific file
# 3. system-wide file
# Any configuration value is only changed the first time it is set.
# Thus, host-specific definitions should be at the beginning of the
# configuration file, and defaults at the end.

# Site-wide defaults for some commonly used options. For a comprehensive
# list of available options, their meanings and defaults, please see the
# ssh_config(5) man page.
