Como instalo o gcc-4.6 no Ubuntu 15.10 (edição de 32 bits)

Question

Quando tento instalar o gcc-4.6 no Ubuntu15.10 (edição de 32 bits) usando o apt-get, mas não consigo.

Eu tentei, mas o Ubuntu exibiu essas mensagens de erro:

$ sudo apt-get install gcc-4.6
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree       
Reading state information... Done
Package g++-4.6 is not available, but is referred to by another package.
This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or
is only available from another source

Onde posso encontrar "outra fonte"?

Adicionei 2 linhas em /etc/apt/sources.list :

deb     http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ trusty universe  
deb-src http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ trusty universe

Parece funcionar bem. Resolvido.

Encontrei este link do PPA está na parte inferior. Não tenho certeza de como isso é seguro, mas acrescentei PPAs aleatórios e não tive problemas.
