'update-grub' erro de sintaxe

Question

Li várias perguntas anteriores e não encontrei nenhuma solução. Onde eu executo o comando update-grub , isso me dá essa saída:

O problema aqui é que o Grub Customizer não está sendo atualizado após a atualização para a versão 3.5.0-45-generic, então as entradas no menu estão todas bagunçadas e eu não consigo colocá-las na ordem que quero porque o Grub Customizer não tem efeito, ele está exibindo as novas entradas apropriadas, mas não modifica o menu quando eu inicializo.

Acabei de verificar meu /etc/default/grub e ele é o mesmo que no seu pastebin, mas também recebo esse aviso desde a instalação padrão do Ubuntu 14.04 Trusty Thar.

Então isso não ajuda para mim. O resultado ainda é o mesmo. E descobri que há uma grande discussão já no launchpad. Basta olhar aqui:

Mas o comentário #10 neste link mostra o truque, como resolver as coisas. O arquivo /etc/default/grub precisa ser editado na segunda linha e na terceira linha, conforme mostrado no comentário # 10 neste link acima do launchpad:

sudo gedit /etc/default/grub

GRUB_TIMEOUT=5

Eu salvei um arquivo original / etc / default / grub no meu pastebin para tais situações. Abra um terminal e faça

sudo cp /etc/default/grub ~/default-grub.bad
sudo wget "http://pastebin.com/raw.php?i=g3TMZgTP" -o /etc/default/grub 
sudo update-grub

Sugestão adicional:

Você tem um monte de kernels instalados. Tente remover os antigos. Você pode usar um programa como o ubuntu-tweak ou synaptic.

Eu tive um problema semelhante que resolvi apenas deletar um menu que eu tinha no Grub Customizer. Depois de remover este menu, o Grub Customizer começou a salvar novamente sem problemas.

Você errou o seu arquivo / etc / default / grub colocando vários comandos em uma única linha comentada, mas quebrou o último na metade na próxima linha que não é um comentário. "echo Debian '" GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="respingo silencioso" "faz parte do comando anterior e deve estar na mesma linha.
