Não é possível consertar o sistema de pacotes quebrados

Depois que eu (dolorosamente) consegui instalar o Skype no meu Ubuntu 12.04 LTS, estou experimentando há alguns meses um problema de pacotes que não posso consertar.

Se eu tentar instalar as atualizações do sistema, o Update Manager fecha inesperadamente, informando que o sistema de pacotes está quebrado e apresenta o seguinte erro:

Meu entendimento é que a causa raiz são dependências não satisfeitas dos pacotes grub-efi-amd64 e grub-efi-amd64-signed , então eu tentei o que é descrito aqui Como eu resolvo dependências não atendidas depois de adicionar um PPA? , mas o problema ainda persiste.

Não tenho certeza se a remoção dos pacotes conflitantes resolveria o problema, mas ainda não o fiz, pois tenho medo de estragar meu sistema, pois ele tem inicialização EFI e estou inicializando com ele. GRUB. Pelo mesmo motivo, não tentei executar sudo apt-get -u dist-upgrade , pois talvez os pacotes conflitantes pudessem ser removidos automaticamente.

Gostaria de saber se outros tiveram uma experiência semelhante, bem como possíveis soluções para isso.

Eu finalmente resolvi meu problema removendo com o Synaptic os pacotes problemáticos grub-efi-amd64 e grub-efi-amd64-signed.

Depois disso, instalei e apliquei todas as atualizações de sistema pendentes que parecem ter instalado novamente os pacotes mencionados.

Quando todo o processo de atualização terminar, reiniciei o sistema e está tudo bem agora.

Simples instale o gerenciador de pacotes synaptic e, em Status (à esquerda), clique em pacotes quebrados - selecione os pacotes & amp; consertá-lo ou reinstalá-lo.
