Preseeding Ubuntu 16.04 para uma VM do Hyper-V falhar ao instalar a seção de inicialização do UEFI

Estou construindo uma imagem de base do Ubuntu do Hyper-V (no Win10 e Win2016) com o Packer . A máquina constrói bem e eu posso inicializar a máquina virtual exportada sem problemas. No entanto, se eu criar uma nova máquina virtual com o disco rígido virtual recém-criado, ele não será inicializado com uma mensagem dizendo

No x64-based UEFI boot loader was found

Reuni a partir de Blog do Ben Armstrong que isso tem a ver com o fato de que os arquivos de inicialização do UEFI não são gravados no disco no lugar correto.

Atualizei o arquivo de pré-configuração para gerar uma unidade EFI e uma unidade de inicialização, mas não consigo descobrir o que adicionar ao arquivo preseed ou o comando de inicialização para instalar os arquivos necessários nas unidades EFI / boot Eu posso usar o disco rígido virtual com máquinas virtuais Gen 2 Hyper-V.

A configuração d-i grub-installer/force-efi-extra-removable boolean true instalará o Grub como EFI / boot / bootx64.efi, mas o Grub não é assinado com a chave da Microsoft e, portanto, isso quebrará a Inicialização Segura, se você estiver usando-o.

Outra abordagem é usar isso, que copia a configuração Shim + Grub instalada no EFI / ubuntu

EDITAR: Observe que /target é o sistema de arquivos do sistema de destino , portanto esse caminho não deve aparecem na seção de disco do arquivo preseed.

Ao adicionar a seguinte linha ao arquivo preseed, o GRUB instala um bootstrapper de UEFI na partição efi

d-i grub-installer/force-efi-extra-removable boolean true

Com essa linha adicionada, o bootstrapper do UEFI termina no disco rígido virtual, o que significa que é possível reutilizar a unidade separadamente da configuração da máquina virtual.
